Start planning as early as possible. We recommend that you reserve your wedding cake at least 4 months before your special day as, we are often booked up months in advance especially, in a high wedding season. Therefore, the sooner the better to reserve your date on our schedule. However, we will try to accommodate last minute orders if, our schedule permits. We deliver all of our custom-designed wedding cakes to your venue, throughout the Big Island, at an additional charge.
If you would like us to serve your cake at the venue, we request 2 months notice in advance.
Set up and serving fees are calculated at an hourly rate of $100 per team of 2 staff.
Our cakes start at $6.00 per serving / minimum 6"+8" tiers / with buttercream filling of your choice and covered with same s filling or with white vanilla buttercream frosting. Additional fillings, flavors, colors, decorations are an extra charge. See "Flavors & Price".
Tiered Cakes - Minimum order is two-tier 6"+8" cakes in any shape
With buttercream filling of your choice and with / same as filling or / white buttercream icing. Designs involving handcrafted flowers and characters, or more complex designs will be priced a higher rate per serving. Please see our "Flavors & Price" page.
Sheet Cakes - Available to supplement large parties in any increment of 25 and with a minimum of 6"+8" cake order. The cake will be cut to portions, ready to serve. Price starting at $4.50 per serving with buttercream filling and frosting. Portion sizes are 2" x 2" with three cake layers, two-layers, and frosting on top. Flavors are same as your cake. Additional fillings (for example, fruit, custard, ganache and others) extra charge. Please see "Flavors & Prices" page.
3D Sculpted Cakes - Minimum order is $500.00, priced by the project, not per serving, and will be determined by the designer. The more complex design will be priced higher.
2D Sculpted Cakes - Minimum order is $300.00 - Pricing begins $8.00 per serving. The more complex design will be charged a higher price.
We require a 50% non-refundable deposit when you place an order with us, to secure your date on our calendar. It will be based on the total cost of your cake.
Final payment is due four (4) weeks before your event. Any changes to your cake design must be received four (4) weeks before the due date.
If you would like us to design your wedding cake, we advise you to schedule a consultation to discuss your wedding plans and style. We encourage you to put together a packet for us with any elements from your event that you feel we can draw inspiration from. For example pictures of your wedding dress, flower decorations, reception venue, your invitations, a monogram, fabric swatches of your wedding gown, a piece of jewelry that catches your eye. It can all be helpful.
The design process is definitely a collaborative effort, but after your consultation, we will have a better understanding of your style that we can use to create a cake, you will love.
We are offering 3 delicious cake flavor combinations from our menu.
The tasting fee is $60.00 per couple, additional flavor $20.00 as well as $20.00 for each additional guest.
No more than 4 guests please, as it is difficult to focus on too many different inputs!
If you are planning your Big Island wedding from a mainland, we can ship a tasting box to you with a choice of your flavors, and the consultation can be handled over the phone and via emails. If you choose to move forward with our wedding cake services 50% of the tasting fee with a $500.00 cake order, and 100% of the tasting and consultation fee will be deducted from your final balance with a minimum of $1000.00 cake order, minus shipping charges for destination weddings.
Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment we require at least 48 hours notice.
Cancellations without the appropriate notice will be subject to an additional fee in order to rebook the appointment.
